Beastie is an exciting Interactive and immersive experience for young children, it’s they who create the story and take ownership of the creature’s play. Beastie is a site-specific project and one that DWS are most proud of, it continues to tour every year throughout festival in the UK and Europe. The initial design and concept process were an extensive one and involved many different permutations whilst collaborating with concept divisors Gary Winters and Gregg Whelan. until the final look was achieved. Tim Rose devised the animatronics that are controlled solely by the performer inside the creature.
