A cast of 5 highly detailed animatronic puppet characters were designed and constructed for The Ark, the first ITV religious series created primarily for children. Produced by Sue Kendall, the two series of 30 episodes each featured the madcap adventures of a flying Ark, inhabited and run by animals travelling through time.
